Chronicles Cannabis is a brand new retailer entering the cannabis market with plans to open 3 initial locations. The owners had brand elements and a design style determined, and needed premium mill-work to match.
The owners of Chronicles wanted to create a premium store while benefiting from economies of scale. Previous estimates featured out of budget price points and long lead times to achieve their goals.
Ontario Fixtures solved the problems faced by implementing ‘smart engineering’ along with suggesting more feasible materials throughout the build. By modifying lengths of units and material, we were able to save the client roughly 20% from competitors quotes. Additionally, because Chronicles Cannabis built all 3 locations at once time, material cost savings were also passed to them. The result was a design that matches the guidelines for every store.
By understanding the full project scope, our production team was able to roll out the units as they were needed by the client. By beginning with the cash desk, Chronicles was able to pass the AGCO initial inspection while the remaining units were being produced. Our warehouse capacity meant Ontario Fixtures could store the units for the client until they were ready to ship out. The client toured our production shop multiple times throughout the build to ensure the design matched drawings and they were satisfied with every aspect of the units.
Every project includes white-gloves installation on-site at your new location. We worked with contractors and owners to install units in Woodstock, Hamilton & Kitchener. The client just pointed to where they wanted it and we built onsite.
Every Chronicles Cannabis store is flawless, consistent and profitable. The client has been open for over 1 year and has plans to continues growing in some capacity.
